Greetings

Photobucket
I started to write my Christmas cards yesterday. I love this holiday tradition. See, I don't just sign my name (and forge my husband's). Oh no. I like to write a narrative, draw pictures, add clippings and other fun things. You might get a drawing of the Grinch, a deranged elf, a penguin, or something non-related to Christmas. You may get a random sticker, a picture, or some pencil shavings.

It cracks me up. Cracking myself up cracks me up.

If I don't know your sense of humor very well, you might just get a regular card.

At least you will be getting a card, though. Everybody loves getting Christmas cards! Even if you just sign your name (and forge your husband's). They are little gifts and turn into decorations immediately after you open them.

In other news:

My dad is feeling better. He is getting his energy back and is much more comfortable. Looks like he will have is kidney removed so that this does not happen again.

I can't stand the preview for the new Johnny Depp/Angelina Jolie flick. Something about how the both of them speak in those ridiculous accents just gets under my skin.

I have been eating a sweet potato every day for almost a week. I'm hooked.

Say, do you ever lay in bed wondering what you would look like with bangs so you try to make your long hair look like bangs without actually cutting them and then use the photobooth program on your computer to take a picture of yourself with your fake bangs?

Just wondering.

As your friend, I can honestly tell you that the poofy bang look isn't your best look. If they were straight, they would probably be cute, but if they stay poofy, you look kind of like you lived on that strange ranch outside of San Angelo where all the ladies wore the long dresses.

Can't wait to see your Christmas card - I hope we are the ones that get the pencil shavings. Or a sticker.

My advise for you: Just say no to bangs.

I'm glad your dad's doing better, even if it does mean major surgery. I was already feeling guilty about not sending Christmas cards this year, but now I really do because you're right - they are like little presents.

I'm glad I was one of the lucky ones that got a piece of toilet paper, a drawing of peeps and a picture of you in your 60's yearbook phase. Sweet!

Hey Sarah hope your feeling better! My sister in law had back surgery, my boss' dad had back surgery, you. You people really need to learn how to lift with your legs. :)
