Green

Day 4 of the photography challenge: Green.
I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to photograph. I have a lot of green things in my casa. I decided on this green glass perfume bottle that serves as a decorative piece in my bathroom:

I took the photo outside to utilize the natural light. It really boosts the color....almost like it is glowing.

While I was looking at various green things around my house, the song It Ain't Easy Being Green played in my head. That made me think of the episode of the Cosby show where Rudy was so upset that her mom would not let her wear her pretty, purple, summer dress to a party on a cool, fall afternoon. Here is the video clip of her agonizing over this atrocity. I love it! (The song starts at 2:50.)


The Cosby Show introduced me to great music, as a child. Do you remember the episode where the family did a lip synched performance of Night and Day (another one by Ray Charles)? Damn! I just loved that as a little kid. Still do. Here is a clip of that episode.
