Fall is for Music!
When I opened my mail today, I got a letter from Lone star Beer:
A while back, I had registered to win tickets to attend the Lone Star Bash at the Brewery. Turns out, I have been selected to win.
I can't find a link on the Lone Star Brewery Bash's website to actually purchase tickets, so I think everyone that enters is a winner
Hacienda, Band of Heathens, The Bluebonnets, Dale Watson, Bob Schneider, and The Texas Tornados are all playing.
This could be fun.
I added the winning tickets to my growing stack of tickets to fall concerts:

Black Lips with Those Darlins Oct 8th at Emo's
Hacienda Nov 5th at Stubb's indoor
Dr. Dog Nov 12th at Stubb's outdoor

Ha! I registered myself too awhile back when I heard it on the radio and got my tickets earlier this week....are you going? I thought about sending mine to John & Dejah but if you go I'll go with you! I wonder if they will send me another set? I bet they will if you registered me as "Miss Bee."
I'm very much thinking about going. I think it would be fun to go down for a few hours and come back. I am not really down for seeing Bob Schneider from 8:00- 10:00 but would like to see The BlueBonnets (5:00-6:00), Band of Heathens(6:00-7:00), and Hacienda 7:00-8:00). Tell John and Dejah to register for tickets!
