Fruit of the Devil

I'm still out of town....still living at a hospital during the day and a hotel at night. My dad received a bit of good news. He does not have cirrhosis of the liver. Whew! Still, we don't know what is wrong with him. He will undergo a colonoscopy and a lexi scan stress test tomorrow. They have to figure out why he is anemic and why he has ascites. What's that? You don't know what ascites is? I didn't either, until recently.
Ascites is excess fluid in the space between the tissues lining the abdomen and abdominal organs (the peritoneal cavity).

Go ahead, google it and see what Ascites is an indicator for and get freaked out just like me. Stinkin' google.

What was I doing here? Ah, yes. Today's post for the photography challenge is FRUIT. Well, bub, after reading up on Ascites the only fruit I am craving comes in a glass with a stem.

See you tomorrow.

Oh, how I wish I still got summer so that I could come down there and share some fruit of the devil with you. If you're still there on Thursday night, I will.

Oh wow, this must be hard, not knowing what is going on with your father.
Days spent in hospitals are exhausting. I can relate that this is the only fruit you crave.
Gorgeous reflection in the glass.
I hope your dad gets better soon.
