Pumpkin

Photobucket

This Halloween, I hope to acquire a variety of pumpkins. Some of these that I spotted at Central Market (Fall 2012), perhaps:

Yes. Those would do nicely I think.

In other news:
I am on a cleanse. Protein and Greens. No Sugar, no grains, only a wee-bit of fruit. I had to put the bad food down and my body is throwing a tantrum. I feel constantly hungry and tired. This will pass in a few days. I'll be good as new by the time I go back to work next week. Sugar cravings will be a thing of the past.

I hope.

What cleanse are you on? Just started reading Dr Junger's Clean Diet, and have been considering a version of that. I just don't know if i have the time to make various shakes and juices, and I definitely can't afford a juicer. But I want something!

I don't know how I feel about the pumpkin with warts. Although if anyone can make them festive, it will be you!

You've kicked sugar before, you'll do it again! Although selfishly, I do hate it when you're on a cleanse. I like drinking wine with you.

Carissa, It's an old 3-day diet created by LA Weightloss. it's easy and if you do it exactly you will lose 2-5 pounds and your sugar cravings.

For three days you can have chicken (no skin) beef or turkey any time of the day. As much as you want. You can use butter for cooking (yum). You can have all of the green vegetables you want. For breakfast, you can have2 eggs and 1 orange (or a slice of cantaloupe). Meet and green veggies are allowed as well. For lunch, meat and green veggies and one orange or one slice of cantaloupe. Meat and greens allowed. For dinner, same as lunch but without the fruit. If you need a snack, guess what? Meat and green veggies (no fruit).

You can have coffee or a diet soda.

Drink 8 glasses of water.

Try to cut out the salt.

No milk. No fruit juice. No booze.

It’s more of a kick-starter diet than it is a cleanse.

Oh, and you can use low-fat salad dressing as a condiment. No fat free...but low-fat.
